This place really is a find. Another one of our Sanibel traditions every time we visit. They really should change their name though, makes it sound like some place casual for a quick bite. That is definitely not what Sweet Melissa’s is. Even though it’s a bit pricey, especially for wine and drinks, I love coming here for a splurge. The terra-cotta like orange walls, the beautiful Mexican floor tiles, and a curved bar set the mood just right. As for the food, you can never go wrong with the seafood dishes. Also loved the heirloom tomato and watermelon salad.
